Manisha Agarwal is an Indore-based artist who graduated from Government Fine Art College, Indore in 2013.

Growing up, Manisha observed that flora and fauna held a special place in the religious lives of people around her. She believes that they are an integral part of our natural and human life. One can find solace in her works, that sympathise with nature, which is rapidly destroyed because of abrupt urbanisation and spontaneous industrialisation. Manisha’s paintings capture the symbols and elements that portray the rebellious future that is affected by toxic pollution, extinction of various living beings and drastic climatic changes. Using a series of allegorical elements and visual narratives, Manisha’s works become an instrument of ecological awareness. Her extensive research leads the onlookers to intricately rendered details of the negative human impact on the flora and fauna.

She has participated in numerous group shows and showcased her works at numerous art galleries in Mumbai, New Delhi, Goa, Lucknow, Gurugram, and Hyderabad.
